Narozen 17. 5. 1943 v Praze, zemřel 22.12. 2014 v Českých Budějovicích. Mgr., v letech 1988-1990 byl ředitelem Jihočeského nakladatelství v Českých Budějovicích. Po roce 1990 založil Nakladatelství Jih - František Ber. Autor knížek pro děti a turistických průvodců, též ilustrátor, grafický technik a autor pohádek a autor publikace z oblasti etikety.
