Narozena 7.2.1941 v Praze, zemřela 24. 5. 2020 tamtéž. Vystudovala obor herectví a filozofii, pracovala jako tlumočnice, později publicistka a spisovatelka, mluvčí Charty 77. Od roku 1980 žila v emigraci v Anglii, psala česky i anglicky.
